Jacksonville, Florida July 12, 2016 – The Silverfern Group, a leader in non-traditional global direct investment, today announced that it has completed a follow-on investment into Silverfern portfolio company APR Energy, becoming APR Energy’s third largest shareholder behind ACON Investments and Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.
APR Energy, a global leader in the provision of large scale temporary electric power generation solutions and the world’s leading provider of fast-track, mobile turbine power, was taken private in February 2016 by a consortium led by ACON Investments, Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, Albright Capital Management, and APR Management, in partnership with Silverfern.
Following completion of the investment, Silverfern Co-Managing Partner Clive Holmes said: “Silverfern is pleased to continue its strong support for APR Energy Founder and CEO John Campion and the APR Energy team. The APR Energy investment represents Silverfern’s fifth follow-on investment and tenth global investment in the past 18 months.
