Deepak is a Managing Director of Silverfern and brings over 20 years of senior investment, acquisition, financing, restructuring and portfolio management experience to the Silverfern team. He has provided advisory services to a wide variety of domestic and international companies, mostly in the chemicals, plastics, packaging, healthcare and industrial sectors. Based in New York, Deepak leads Silverfern’s investments in the Industrials, Chemicals, Healthcare and Packaging sectors.

Prior to Silverfern, Deepak was a Senior Vice President & Global Head of Chemicals/Industrials at GE Capital for 5 years, prior to which he spent 7 years on Wall Street. Over his 28 year professional career, Deepak has been involved in over $15 billion in Mergers & Acquisitions transactions, as well as over $40 billion in corporate and structured financing/private debt transactions.

Deepak earned his Masters of Business Administration degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He received his Master of Science degree in Environmental Systems Engineering at Clemson University and his Bachelor of Science degree, with Honors, in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University in India. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
