Greenwich, Connecticut, May 1, 2024 – The Silverfern Group, an investment management firm making direct investments in middle market private equity globally, today announced that it has exited its investment in Pioneer Recycling, following the successful sale of the Company to Waste Connections, a large waste services company and an important supplier to Pioneer in an all-cash transaction.

Pioneer, based in Tacoma, WA, is an industry leader in co-mingled residential recycling in the Pacific Northwest. Pioneer’s recycling centers focus on providing reliable environmental services and solutions for commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential customers. Silverfern invested in Pioneer in 2021 in partnership with Delos Capital.
